Police arrested a drug suspect with meth in his car and guns and equipment in his home in Thailand.

Warasak Boonsom, 44, allegedly supplied illegal drugs to users before police raided his home in Bangkok on June 10.

Footage shows officers storming the property, where they found firearms and drug packaging paraphernalia.

They seized 73.4 kilogrammes of crystal methamphetamine hidden inside metal pipes.

They also found an unregistered 9mm semi-automatic handgun with 15 rounds of ammunition, 100,000 baht in cash, a vehicle, mobile phones, and a large quantity of drug-grinding and packaging equipment.

The operation followed an investigation by Metropolitan Police Division 8, which found that Warasak allegedly trafficked drugs in the capital city.

Investigators learned that he frequently used a black Honda Civic sedan to store the narcotics and regularly parked the vehicle near his residence.

On the day of his arrest, officers surveilled his residence before spotting the vehicle parked nearby.

Warasak allegedly admitted that he had rented another house on the outskirts of Bangkok to grind and package the drugs into metal pipes before distributing them to customers.

A subsequent search of the property uncovered six additional packages of crystal methamphetamine, another smaller package, and drug-processing equipment.

He was charged with possession of a Category 1 narcotic with intent to distribute for commercial purposes in a manner affecting the public and public safety, as well as unauthorised possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Warasak was handed over to the inquiry officer for further legal action while investigators expanded the probe to identify and track down his accomplices.
