Mother 'used son with ADHD as her drugs courier'

Post ImagesA mother allegedly used her son with ADHD as a drug courier in Thailand.

Somluk, also known as 'Jae Kung', reportedly sent the youngster on drug runs to distribute meth around Pattaya.

The boy was ordered to deliver meth and collect cash from customers at their homes before police shut down the operation on June 2.

Authorities launched a raid after residents complained Somluk had been selling narcotics to youths, using her own child as a drug runner.

Police staked out the neighbourhood before spotting two women allegedly caught buying drugs from the alleged dealer's property.

CCTV footage shows the pair collecting a package and handing cash to Somluk's son.

When police moved in to question them, they sped away on a motorcycle, sparking a police chase through the coastal city.

The women drove against traffic as they fled towards the Laem Chabang area, where they were detained.

Cops seized two ziplock pouches containing 0.8 grams of meth in their bag.

Both suspects allegedly confessed to purchasing the drugs from Somluk. They led officers to her home, where police seized 8.9 grams of crystal meth, 18 meth pills, packaging bags and digital scales.

A police officer said neighbours frequently saw Somluk's son delivering drugs at the front gate before taking the money upstairs to his mother.

He said: 'People were deeply distressed and saddened by what they witnessed. Concerned residents reported the matter and urged authorities to step in and take legal action.'

All of the suspects were arrested and the seized drugs were handed to investigators as police widened their probe into the suspected narcotics network.
