Street food vendor horrified as fire erupts on motorcycle kitchen..
A street food vendor was horrified when a fire broke out in her motorcycle kitchen in Thailand.
Nainet Ayuwong, 52, was cooking lunch on the roadside when a gas leak erupted on her mobile food cart in Pattaya on May 26.
The shocked vendor tried to shut off the valve, but the flames rapidly ripped through her stall along Phettrakul Road.
Thick black smoke billowed into the air as terrified locals fled from the scene, fearing the cooking gas cylinder could explode.
Firefighters arrived to find the motorcycle kitchen engulfed in fire. The street was temporarily closed as officers doused the blaze, bringing it under control within minutes.
However, the food cart was completely destroyed, along with Nainet's cooking equipment.
Footage shows scorched debris littering the scene. The inferno had also melted down several blue plastic stools and charred a pot of pork legs Nainet had set over a large pot.
The vendor said she was serving roadside customers when the fire broke out.
She said: 'I tried to shut off the gas valve but I couldn't stop the fire since it spread so fast. I was shocked and terrified for all my things. We had to run for our lives.
'Once we calmed down, we begged passers-by to help and call the fire department, but everything had already been destroyed by the time they arrived.'
Nainet was later given treatment for burns on her wrist.
